Welcome to the Actors Cornerstone Training Group Web Page on my personal website.
We now have our official website up and running, you can go to www.actorscornerstone.com for information on our classes and workshops.
How this all got started is some of the former on staff teachers of what used to be Schoolcreative had decided to launch a full time program administered by the group of us, as we all saw a need in the Vancouver industry and community for the kind of acting training that we offer.
Our collective offers the following four types of training and schooling:
- Traditional Scene Study for both Stage and Film
- Classic Voice Training
- Process and Transformational Acting
- On Camera Audition and Acting for Camera
As a group we felt the need to cover these in a manner that is supportive of the actor in his or her process.
As much as we want actors that study with us to become stars, we want just as much for those aspiring artists to be whole human beings and creators. We are a very heart centered, supportive and nurturing group, and very much want our actors to know that they are cared for on more than just the industry level.
It's a tough business to be in, and many times actors are at the behest of the industry. One of our aims and goals is to prepare the aspiring artist to succeed internally and externally in this sometimes unforgiving business. To that end, Actors Cornerstone Training Group was formed.
