Off Camera

I have a very rich, full and balanced life outside of the film and acting community.  Below are some of my many favorite pastimes and hobbies.

Golf

One of my biggest passions in life is playing and watching the great game of golf.  I still follow the Golf Channel all the time, to glean playing tips and lessons, as well as all the latest golf news. My other favorite site for news, statistics and the latest information is the PGA Tour website.  It has all the scores and the highlights of all the big tournaments.

And yes, I am a big
Tiger Woods fan (even now with all the controversy surrounding him), as well as a big Mike Weir fan.  And Mike Weir plays left-handed, just like me.  When I play regularly I am about a 15 handicap.

Courses and Workshops

Speaking of a healthy mind, I take workshops on a regular basis to balance out my life and career.  Some of these workshops are directly related to the film industry, while others are just for mental and emotional health reasons.

A select list of the workshops and groups I have been involved with includes
Peak Potentials, the Barbara Deutsch workshop, and the Performer's Mastery.  I find that taking the time to nurture my soul and inner being contributes to me being more authentic in rendering my craft as an actor.

Inspiration

One of my greatest sources of inspiration is from books.  Since there are too many to mention in this small space, you can look at my ongoing list here.

OUR HOUSE IS A VERY VERY VERY FINE HOUSE

Our house in East Vancouver. It is where I tend the garden in the front (soon to be back) and where I run acting classes.

Bonnie has a flourishing BodyTalk practice at the house too.
