I have been practicing Bikram Yoga at the yoga studio on 12th and Cambie since March 2004. It works. I usually go between 3 to 5 classes a week. And in the time I've been doing hot yoga I've slimmed down, my body processes have been working better and my core temperature has increased. I have more energy, I have a clearer mind and I am able to focus better, plus I am so much more flexible than ever before in my life. I also have a lifetime membership at Fitness World, where periodically I go to do some weight training and cardio. I think it's important to maintain a healthy body, because I think that it contributes to having a healthy mind. |
