Acting Resume

I have been a professional actor since 1996, when I got my first paid acting job on an industrial video.  Prior to that, I had done some acting in high school, but went on to pursue other interests afterwards.  I got back into performing in 1987, and began to explore different art forms, like stand-up comedy and also to re-acquaint myself with acting.  I had done several plays and had engaged in working as a background performer on film sets.  After doing that for a couple of years I then made the big jump to film and TV acting.

In the time that I have been acting professionally I have been very fortunate to have worked with some very wonderful people, from wardrobe and make-up to directors and cast.  I have always been blessed with the experience of the production working like a team, and feeling like a family.  

And in my training to be a better actor I have also been blessed to work with some of the best instructors in the city.  I continue to take classes to keep my skills sharp.  I like to maintain and keep refining my instrument as I move forward in this unique and extraordinary industry.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, "who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?"

Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a child of God.  Your playing small doesn't serve the world.  There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.  It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone, and as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
